Smart drying cap for AI- and hearing glasses
Moisture, body secretions and cerumen can severely impair the function of AI- and hearing glasses and other sensitive electronics and lead to failures. Drying is carried out by two fans, which direct 9.8 cubic meters of room air to AI- or hearing glasses including a charger without harming the batteries. The patented SMART mode automatically determines the optimal drying time of between 90, 120 or 180 minutes based on the current drying room temperature and humidity measured by the integrated sensor.
The five UV-C diodes emit 275 nm wavelength through a wide aperture angle, so that 99.99% of all viruses, bacteria and fungi are eliminated in just 5 minutes. This was confirmed by an accredited institute with a certificate. The 2 phases at the beginning and end of the dry season guarantee hygiene, even if the AI- or hearing glasses are removed in the meantime. The new dry-glasses uv® is a medical device and meets the high requirements for medical devices (class I) of the Medical Devices Regulation (EU) 2017/745.

In addition to the USB-C input, the device has another USB-C output, which allows you to connect a charging adapter or a charging station with the 30cm USB-C cable. Drying, hygienic and charging AI or hearing glasses at a power outlet at the same time is practical.
