Electronic drying cap for all hearing aids
Moisture, bodily secretions, and earwax can severely impair the function of hearing aids and lead to malfunctions. Drying is primarily carried out by a fan that directs room air onto the hearing aids and charger. Drying is enhanced by preheating the air to a maximum of 35°C (95°F). This allows more moisture to be absorbed, leading to even better drying results without damaging the hearing aid batteries. The two drying programs offer greater flexibility. Dry&Clean mode (left button) is an automatic program that combines fan drying with UV-C light at the beginning and end of the drying cycle. The Clean mode (right button) is a short-term hygiene program that activates optimized UV-C light, which effectively eliminates up to 99.99% of all germs, bacteria, and fungi.

The size and design of the dry-cap uv 2.2® are designed to ensure that hearing aids and ear molds are perfectly dried and hygienically cleaned.

The new dry-cap uv 2.2® has been further perfected for drying. In addition to the high-performance fan, a sensor-controlled heating element provides heat up to a maximum of 35°C (95°F) without affecting the hearing aid batteries. Since warm air can absorb more moisture, maximum drying results are achieved.

The new dry-cap uv 2.2® is universally suitable for all hearing aids (rechargeable and battery-powered) as well as for cochlear audio processors and in-ear monitors. Openings in the cover allow flexible cable routing for charging hearing aids while drying them at the same time.

The new dry-cap uv 2.2® also scores points with a universal USB power supply with 4 country-specific adapters. This enables worldwide use. Two USB ports allow drying, hygiene, and recharging at the same time from a single power outlet.

Whether at home or on the go, the dry-cap uv 2.2® operates on a 5V USB basis with a standard USB Type-C® connection. Integrated features like input voltage control and autmatic schut-off when tilting the device by 3G-sensor improve safety.
