Smart dry box for all hearing aids
Moisture, body secretions and cerumen can severely impair the function of hearing aids and lead to failures. Drying is primarily carried out by a fan that directs room air onto the hearing aids and charger. Drying is intensified by preheating the air to up to 38°C (100°F). This allows more moisture to be absorbed, which leads to even better drying results without damaging the hearing aid batteries. The two drying programs offer more flexibility. The patented SMART mode automatically determines the optimum drying time between 90, 120 or 180 minutes based on the current drying room temperature and humidity measured by the integrated sensor. The MAX mode over 4 hours is designed for maximum drying. For example, for heavy sweating customers or in areas with high humidity.
The four UV-C light-emitting diodes radiate at a wavelength of 275 nm through a wide aperture angle, eliminating 99.99% of all viruses, bacteria and fungi in just 5 minutes. This has been confirmed by an accredited institute with a certificate. The 2 phases at the beginning and end of the drying time guarantee hygiene, even if the hearing aids are removed in the meantime. The new dry-cap uv 4® is a medical device and meets the high requirements for medical devices (Class I) of the Medical Device Regulation (EU) 2017/745.

A temperature and humidity sensor inserted in the drying chamber currently measures the temperature and humidity and uses algorithms to calculate the required drying time. Processor-controlled, drying and hygiene is automatically completed after 90, 120 or 180 minutes.
The new dry-cap uv 4® has been further perfected in terms of drying. In addition to the high-performance fan, a sensor-controlled 38°C (100°F) heating conductor provides heat without affecting the hearing system batteries. Reduced distance from the hearing system and a closed front window optimize drying and increase safety.
The new dry-cap uv 4® continues to score points with a universal USB power supply with 4 country-specific adapters. In addition to the USB-C input, the device has another USB-C output that allows you to connect a 5V/0.5A charger with the 30cm USB-C cable. Drying, hygienic and charging the hearing systems at one power outlet at the same time is convenient.
