UV-C hygiene has been optimised in terms of intensity and exposure time. The high-quality UV-C tube emits with a wavelength of 253.7 nm and an intensity of 4,900 W/cm2, so that 99.9% of all viruses, bacteria and fungi are eliminated in just 4 minutes. This was confirmed by an accredited testing laboratory with a certificate.
The new dry-care uv 1.1 is a medical device and meets the high requirements for medical devices (class I) of the Medical Devices Regulation (EU) 2017/745.

In addition to drying, UV-C light ensures hygienic cleanliness. Germs, bacteria, viruses and fungi are efficiently reduced by 99.9%, thus minimizing health risks. In addition to the UV-C purification carried out in the first 4 minutes, another one is added before the end of the 4 hour drying period. This hygiene runs automatically parallel to drying and is signaled by flashing LEDs. This means that the hearing aids are also hygienically clean after 4 hours of drying. This prevents ear infections and protects your health.
The dry-care uv 1.1 is switched on simply by pressing a button. This tactile one-button automatic system is easy to use and easy to use. All switching processes are software-controlled. Pressed the button for more than 3 seconds, the device switches off manually if necessary. Flashing LEDs indicate UV-C light and glowing LEDs signal drying.
Whether at home or on the go while traveling, the dry-care uv 1.1 works on a 5V USB basis with USB Type-C® Connection and can therefore also be used in hotels, in cars, on a PC, TV or audio devices. A standard USB 2.0 port is completely sufficient for this.
UV light (450 nm) is used in medicine to treat acne, psoriasis, atopic dermatitis and wound healing. UV light also contributes to hygiene thanks to its antibacterial, antimicrobial and anti-inflammatory effect.
