Rechargeable dry box for all hearing aids
Moisture, body secretions and cerumen can severely impair the function of all hearing systems and lead to failures. The new dry-cap uv 3.1® is a class leader when it comes to drying hearing systems. This was achieved by optimizing the flow channel, consisting of intake openings, high-performance ventilator, turbo channel and dry room optimization. At 7,000 rpm, 4.89 m3/h of air is directed directly onto the hearing systems via the turbo channel. By improving the flow channel and reducing the distance between the hearing system and the ventilator, the drying result is increased by 25%. The humid air can escape unhindered via large side openings. There is no heat input, which is important for rechargeable hearing systems, cochlear processors, in-ear monitors and batteries.
UV-C hygiene has been optimised in terms of intensity and exposure time. The high-quality UV-C tube emits a wavelength of 253.7 nm and an intensity of 4,900 JW/cm2 with a wider opening angle, so that 99.9% of all viruses, bacteria and fungi are eliminated in just 2 minutes. This was confirmed by an accredited testing laboratory with a certificate. The 2 phases at the beginning and end of the dry season guarantee sterility even if the hearing systems are removed in the meantime. In combination of UV-C light with 465nm wavelength antibacterial blue light, we offer optimal hygiene for the hearing aid wearer and gentle care of the hearing systems. The new dry-cap uv 3.1® is a medical device and meets the high requirements for medical devices (class I) of the Medical Devices Regulation (EU) 2017/745.

The new dry-cap uv 3.1® offers optimal care for all hearing systems worldwide. The intelligent design enables perfect drying and disinfection at the same time as the charging process of the rechargeable hearing systems. Regardless of the design of the hearing aid charging station, they all fit under the hood. Charging stations with a lid remain open and outside the dry-cap uv 3.1® so that airflow and UV-C light reach the hearing systems and earpieces precisely.
Whether at home or on the go, the dry-cap uv 3.1® works with a rechargeable lithium-polymer battery. This allows rechargeable hearing systems to be dried, hygienic cleaned and charged at the same time. The LiPo battery is charged with the included USB Type-C® cable. A standard USB 2.0 port or a 5V USB power supply (e.g. from the hearing aid charging station) is completely sufficient for this. The multiple use of USB power supplies saves resources and enables worldwide mobility.
In addition to drying, UV-C light ensures hygienic cleanliness. Germs, bacteria and fungi are efficiently reduced by 99.9%, thus minimizing health risks. This clinical cleanliness prevents ear infections and protects both your hearing aids and your health. A 3G sensor switches off the device to protect the eyes when moving.
In addition to hearing system care, the new dry-cap uv 3.1® provides you with an effective hygiene station for many household applications. At the push of a button, quick hygiene is carried out with 2 minutes of UV-C light, which effectively eliminates 99.9% of all viruses, bacteria and fungi. Under the hood, for example, the following utensils can also be hygienically cleaned:

The result: Dust-dry is the best prerequisite for removing cerumen with a brush. The drying takes place without harmful heat and is therefore suitable for all batteries and batteries. The cool airflow also promotes the charging process of the hearing systems.
