The patented dry-cap uv 2.1® dry box for rechargeable hearing aids as a hood enables drying, hygienic cleaning and charging of rechargeable hearing systems at the same time from just one power outlet. Two modes can cover a wide range of different applications in the areas of electronics, dental care, babies and children, cosmetics, valuables, etc. The Dry&Clean mode combines fast drying thanks to an efficient air blower and UV-C light for perfect hygiene at the beginning and end of the drying process. The clean mode starts the UV-C light to achieve quick hygiene even when used multiple times.
Whether at home or on the go while traveling, the device works on a 5V USB-C basis and can therefore also be used in hotels, cars, on a PC, TV or audio equipment. A standard USB 2.0 port is sufficient for this. The new dry-cap uv 2.1® is energy-saving, cost-effective to operate and offers safe use. Effective and absolutely gentle care is the best guarantee for a long hearing aid life. The dry-cap uv 2.1® is a medical device and meets the high requirements for medical devices (Class I) of the Medical Devices Regulation (EU) 2017/745.

The Dry&Clean mode (120 minutes) is an automatic program and combines fast drying using an efficient air blower with UV-C light at the beginning and end of the drying time for perfect hygiene. The clean mode (2 minutes) is a short-term hygiene program and starts the optimized UV-C light, which effectively eliminates up to 99.9% of germs, bacteria and fungi in the household.
In addition to drying, UV-C light ensures hygienic cleanliness. Germs, bacteria and fungi are efficiently reduced by 99.9%, thus minimizing health risks. This clinical cleanliness prevents ear infections and protects both your hearing aids and your health. A 3G sensor switches off the device to protect the eyes when moving.
