Dual USB power supply and USB-C cable in saleable packaging
The amendment to EU Directive 2014/53/EU on the harmonization of USB power supplies and the uniform USB Type-C® connection for all electronic devices up to 60 watts will be introduced by 2024. This should reduce the number of different power supplies and cables and avoid electronic waste. Battery devices should be delivered without a power supply. Many hearing aid manufacturers are already adapting their systems to the new regulation. flow-med has also already converted most of its devices to USB Type-C®.
However, operation, charging, drying and hygiene are not entirely possible without electricity and a USB power supply. Elderly people sometimes have no USB power supplies at home. Or people with disabilities find it difficult to use USB plugs. Here, it is helpful to keep battery-powered devices permanently connected to the USB cable and USB power supply. Unfortunately, there are a large number of often inferior power supplies and cables on the market. The names are sometimes confusing. Customers confirm that a standard set of power supply and cable in saleable packaging is required in specialist shops.

The new USB power set consists of a 10 watt dual USB power supply and a 1 meter USB-A to USB Type-C® cable in saleable packaging. The environmentally friendly cardboard has a euro hole for hanging on the shelf.
The quality power supply has all certificates and 4 protection systems. The set is safe, of very high quality, energy-efficient (Class VI) and WEEE recyclable. With the two USB ports, the hearing aid charging station and the ventilator dryer can be operated simultaneously and in parallel at one power outlet.
The 1 meter long USB-A to USB Type-C® cable is suitable for all hearing aid charging stations, accessories and care products, but also for mobile phones, tablets and much more.
