Good hearing thanks to clean earpieces

Dear Ladies and Gentlemen,

Behind the ear, hearing aids are usually connected to the ear canal with an individual earpiece (also known as Otoplastics). This is how the auditory sound reaches the eardrum of the person with hearing loss. For a few years now, RIC hearing systems (receiver in channel) have also been adapted. Here, the receiver sits directly in the ear canal. In both variants, an individual earpiece ensures a secure fit, good wearing comfort and the necessary acoustic adjustment. But this earpiece is exposed to cerumen in the ear canal, which clogs the small channels. That's when you hear worse or you don't hear at all.

Thorough cleaning of the earpiece is therefore necessary every day.The u-sonic, a small ultrasonic cleaner, is designed exactly for this purpose. It offers optimal cleaning. Powerful ultrasound with 46kHz ensures hygienic cleanliness even with clear water. For intensive cleaning, the addition of a little cleaning concentrate is recommended. The u-sonic is suitable for cleaning earpieces, mini tubes, umbrellas, ear protection, but also small dentures, braces, jewelry, coins and many other ultrasound-cleanable small parts.

The u-sonic cap has a mark so it can be used to fill in the exact amount of water. After the water, insert the items to be cleaned and close the cap. Touch the sensor button and an automatic cleaning program starts for 6 minutes. In a 100 ml stainless steel pot, the ultrasonic transmitter (25 watts, approx. 50°C and 46kHz) develops about 7 times the cleaning effect of standard household cleaners. This is the only way to remove dirt and cerumen even from the finest openings. Germs and bacteria are also effectively reduced. This clinical cleanliness prevents ear infection risks and protects health.

After cleaning is complete, the device goes into standby. Remove the earpieces, rinse thoroughly and blow dry. Pour out the old water too.

The new development of flow-med makes it significantly easier to care for earpieces. With the additional benefits for other applications, it is a useful assistant, especially for older people.

The u-sonic is only available from hearing care professionals.
